Blog Entry #7: Animal Cruelty

             The Meatrix was a very informative series. It covered every issue that occurs in the slaughterhouses. From overdosing the animals with antibiotics to dangerous labor. The issue that caught my eye was animal cruelty.
              At the slaughterhouses, they treat the animals with little to any love. the animals are cramped n small cages where they were fed and overdosed with antibiotics. Many of the animals became sick because of the way they were living. The cages were often full of manor. The workers never cleaned out the cages. some animals even did because of the conditions they were living in.
              Because of the way the animals were treated this caused the movement of diseases like Mad Cow Disease. Diseases like this can become fatal. I believe if the workers treated the animals alittle better diseases like that would never occur.
